There is something about a well-fitted cargo that can look effortlessly stylish on a teenager. This one achieves that. My son pairs it with a fitted white or off-white tee and canvas shoes for everyday use. For slightly more put-together occasions he adds a lightweight jacket over the tee. The cut is slim-but-comfortable, not baggy. Quality is good and has held up over two months of regular wear.

My son plays football in the evening after school and this cargo survives the activity without looking wrecked afterwards. The knee area has held up well. I was genuinely expecting some wear at the pocket stitching given how roughly he treats clothes, but nothing so far. He wears it with a jersey-style top and sports shoes. When we go out he switches the top to a cleaner tee and suddenly it looks smart casual. Good versatile piece.

My son's biggest complaint about most cargo pants is that the side pockets look like they exist but cannot hold anything properly. These ones have real depth. His phone fits without falling out, and he keeps his earphones in the second side pocket. The main fabric is durable. He wears it with a relaxed-fit graphic tee and sneakers for his regular look. The included belt is acceptable quality. I sized up by one as the size chart suggested and it was the right call.
