We are in Mumbai and heavy cargo denim is just not practical for 8-9 months of the year. This cotton version is the right call. My daughter wears it for school, outings, and casual evenings. For styling, she tucks in a breezy linen top and it looks fresh. The pockets are functional. Colour is consistent. My only feedback is that cotton can wrinkle, so a quick press before outings helps it look sharper.

Cotton colour can sometimes fade quickly if the quality is not good. This one has held its colour well after 7 washes. The fabric feels the same as day one. My son pairs it with darker-coloured tops to make the cargo pop. Pockets are practical. Waistband elastic is comfortable. A reliable purchase.

I specifically chose the cotton version because my son finds denim cargo too heavy and warm. This is noticeably lighter and more breathable. He wears it comfortably through the school day and for outdoor activities. He pairs it with a solid-colour half-sleeve tee and canvas shoes for his everyday look. For more casual weekend outings he throws on a printed short-sleeve shirt left unbuttoned over a plain tee. Quality is good. Pockets hold up well.
