I would not say these are strictly everyday school wear, but for casual outings, birthday parties, mall trips, they are excellent. My son wore them with a white polo and white shoes to a family birthday and got compliments. The rips give it character and the quality is not cheap-looking at all. Pockets are functional. Size was accurate to the chart.
