Both my sons wear these cotton cargos (different colours). I buy multiples when I find something that works because kids grow fast. The fabric is soft enough for everyday wear and does not trap heat like denim does. They both wear it with basic round-neck tees and their school shoes. For outings I suggest a nicer tucked-in shirt and they oblige. Recommend for parents looking for a practical, wearable cargo option.

Okay, not great

We are in Mumbai and heavy cargo denim is just not practical for 8-9 months of the year. This cotton version is the right call. My daughter wears it for school, outings, and casual evenings. For styling, she tucks in a breezy linen top and it looks fresh. The pockets are functional. Colour is consistent. My only feedback is that cotton can wrinkle, so a quick press before outings helps it look sharper.

My experience: wash cold and skip the hot dryer. I made the mistake of a hot wash the first time and there was slight shrinkage. After switching to a gentle cold cycle, no further issues. The fabric quality is genuinely good. Pockets are functional. My son still wears it and pairs it with a graphic tee and sneakers. Just wanted to flag the washing instruction because it matters with cotton.
