The jeans look good on my son and the fit is comfortable. He is 13 and quite active. My one observation is that the front pockets are not very deep, so his phone sits a little uncomfortably. The side seams and waistband are solid. Colour is as shown in the photos. I styled it with a half-tuck shirt and clean white shoes for a birthday party and it looked really sharp. Overall a good buy for the price, just be aware of the pocket depth if your kid carries a lot.
